Bob and Alex
Appetizer
Homemade beet chips to snack on
Goat Cheese and Tomato Tart with a corn meal crust
Served with Aying Brau-Weisse, a classic and traditional Bavarian wheat
beer: glowing golden color, smooth body, and a refreshing and quenching
flavor. The finish is complex: spicy, fruity notes from the yeast
strain melded with the wholesome flavor of wheat. Bottle-conditioned;
top-rated wheat beer in the World Beer Championships.
Soup
Bratwurst and Cabbage Soup made with and served with
Ayinger Jahrhundert Lager, a helles (pale) lager first brewed in 1978
to commemorate the brewery’s 100-year anniversary. Clean &
fresh flavor, the perfect balance of Bavarian grain and elegant noble
hops. Big floral bouquet with a stunning dry finish. Chosen
by O˝ko-Test magazine – a German consumer products publication – as the
“best beer in Germany” in August 2009.
Entrée
Pork
Medallions with Mushroom Sauce made with Ayinger Altbairisch Dunkel,
Avinger’s authentic Bavarian Dark Lager. Brown in color with
golden highlights, the aroma is warm, sweet, and inviting. Deep
malty flavors lead to a finish that suggests dried fruit and coffe-ish
tones. Refined!
Dessert
Double Bock Chocolate Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting, topped with fresh Raspberries
This amazing chocolate cake is made with Celebrator, the finest
Bavarian Double Bock beer. However, we decided to serve it with a
different tasting beer, with the famous Belgian Lambic, Lindemans
Framboise.
Celebrator Doppelbock is profoundly dark and rich, with cascading
layers of malt complexity. A lager, it finishes with subtle notes
and full body to balance firm strength. World Beer Championships
top-rated Doppelbock.
