Potato Pancake Eating Contest
Thirty seconds to see who can eat the most potato pancakes.
One contest each day – Saturday, Sunday & Monday at 1pm.
Prizes: The Winner receives a $25 gift certificate to Alphorn Bistro and a T-Shirt, plus a subscription to Kearsarge Magazine.
Calling All Cooks!
Two cooking contests to find the best German Potato Salad and Red Cabbage!
Contest is scheduled Sunday Only Please sign up for the contests by sending us an email or calling us.
Bring your dish already made into a portable dish, it does not have to be for a lot of people, just for the judges to taste.
Prizes: 1st place receives a $30 gift certificate to Alphorn Bistro and a T-Shirt, plus a subscription to Kearsarge Magazine and to NHTODO Magazine . 2nd place will receive $20 gift certificate to Alphorn Bistro and a T-Shirt plus a subscription to NHTODO Magazine, 3rd place receives $10 gift certificate to Alphorn Bistro, a T-Shirt and a subscription to NHTODO Magazine.

Official Rules
No contest entry fee applies. However, you must pay the cover charge at the gate and receive a VIP bracelet.
- All contestants must be 21 years of age or older. Single, married, or divorced it does not matter. Must have proof of age.
- All contestants must be wearing some form of “German attire” to participate. If you have questions about what that is give us a call or send an email to us.
- All prizes will be received on-site after the contest.

- Can you pour a perfect glass of Hefe Weiss beer?
- How well can you sing “Ein Prosit”?
- How long can you hold up 2 steins in one hand with an extended arm without spilling the beer?

- How much do you look the part of an Oktoberfest Lady?
